Patricia A. King


Patricia King received her Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University in 1984. She received her Juris Doctor Degree, Magna Cum Laude, from the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law in 1988 and practiced in Marco Island, Florida, and Naples, Florida from 1989 to 2006. Ms. King was in Civil Practice, practicing primarily in the areas of Civil Litigation, Family Law, Commercial litigation and Bankruptcy from 1989 to 2000. From 2000 to 2006, Ms. King was the Senior Lead Attorney with Child Welfare Legal Service, Florida Department of Children and Family Services and received the Outstanding Performance Award from the Secretary of the Department during her tenure with the State of Florida. Ms. King is a senior partner of Thompson, Meier & King, PC and has been in private practice in Canton since 2006.
