DENA MILNER

Dena is a native of Cherokee County. She had the privilege of attending Clayton Elementary School, as well as Cherokee High School here in Canton.
Dena is one of Thompson, Meier & King’s most experienced paralegals. In 1984, Dena began her legal career as a secretary for the Canton law firm McVay & Stubbs. In May, 1988, she received a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Kennesaw State College. After spending six years with McVay & Stubbs, Dena continued her career at the Atlanta firm of Hunton & Williams. In 1995, Dena took a position at LaRoche Industries, Inc. She was a legal assistant to not only corporate and general counsel, but to the Chief Executive Officer and Vice Presidents as well. In 1998, Dena decided to move her career back home, and since that time, has remained an integral part of Thompson, Meier & King.

Dena is not only one of Thompson, Meier & King’s most accomplished paralegals; she is also the firm’s Office Manager. She has many years experience as a title examiner and assists in the preparation and completion of commercial real estate closings and related transactional documents. Dena also has extensive litigation experience in the areas of family law, juvenile law, corporate law, and real estate law. Dena is attending Kennesaw State University, and will soon complete the requirements for an Accounting Degree.
